It's not too late. All members, non members, associates, friends, enemies,
relatives...
   ! ! E V E R Y O N E ! !

is welcome and encouraged to participate in any way they are comfortable in
the club's annual Field Day Event at THE OBSERVATORY adjacent to the Nature
Center. Talk in on the W1FSM 2m repeater: 146.775 - PL 100.

The schedule is:
THIS Friday 3pm - dusk: Antenna and grounds setup. The more people the
better to fire off the air cannons that get our antennas in the air.
Saturday Starting at 10:30am: Radio tent set up and testing. Our plan
this year is to have everything set up and tested BEFORE lunch, so we can
all enjoy a relaxing lunch, and then start practicing on the air around
1:30pm. The event officially starts at 2pm.
Sunday ... to 2pm: Operate, log or come hang out and just have fun. The
event officially ends at 2pm. Of course, we always need help breaking
down the stations and bringing down antennas.
WE COULD REALLY USE RELIEF OPERATORS AND LOGGERS EARLY IN THE MORNING
(think sunrise)! If you can only come for one hour, Sunday morning is the
time!

For the past few years SARA club members have really stepped up and proven
ourselves as a club. We plan to continue to do so this year.

Please volunteer ASAP to help by visiting *
http://www.ctsara.org/HOME.htm<http://www.ctsara.org/HOME.html>
l <http://www.ctsara.org/HOME.html>*. Or, just come by the observatory!
All volunteers will get the guidance they need to be successful and HAVE
FUN making contacts!

AND... don't let the weather fool you. Yes, Friday will be hot, but
Saturday is expected to be partly cloudy and in the mid-80s with a slight
breeze. Saturday night, low in the 60s (what better weather could you ask
for to operate overnight!). Sunday high in the low 80s with a slight
breeze. Considering this is the third weekend in June, the weather is
expected to be FANTASTIC! Come spend some time outdoors and have a great
time!

73' and see you this weekend!
