We plan to arrive at the “East Village Recreation Center” <link> (which we have rented for the weekend) at about 8 AM Saturday, and hopefully, we will have 2 antennas in the air by noon.  We will have two stations initially, then a third by about 3:30 PM Saturday.  We will stay all night, and collapse on cots with sleeping bags if the bands give out (or if WE do).   [There are extra cots].  The plan is cold-cut sandwiches for lunch Sat., a casserole for Sat. night, and eggs or pancakes for Sunday morning.   Food is also available locally at the White Hills Shopping Plaza (see step 6, below) about .4 miles away.
 
>From Norwalk, 

 

1.       come up 95 to Exit 27A Route 8
 
2.       go north on Route 8 to Exit 14 (Shelton)
 
3.       At the end of the exit ramp, turn Left (at Traffic light) 

 

4.       Go 100 feet and turn Left @ TL again onto Route 110 north.  This is Howe Avenue, and it becomes Leavenworth Avenue
 
5.       Follow 110 through town, and along the river, then it makes a wide, 
sweeping 90-degree turn to the left and heads up a long, straight hill (>.5 mile)
 
6.       At the Traffic Light (by White Hills Shopping Plaza), take a RIGHT onto East Village Road (map incorrectly says “Maple St.”)
 
7.       Left at Stop (stay on East Village Rd.), and up the hill.
 
8.       At the top of the hill, go straight through the intersection and turn LEFT into the next parking lot.  WATCH
