I have a drive from Vegas to Burbank, CA. I'm hoping in that 5 hour trip
there will be a place to pull over to get on the air and that i can find a
place on sunday.

i'm using an external lithium battery pack for power.
I was thinking wire antenna and that seems to be the general consensus.

I was thinking of putting everything my checked luggage. Good idea or bad?

Mr Solomon, don't tempt me with AES especially when I'll be in the land of
Fry's.
