[CTSARA] Dec 1 Meeting

For this month we're going to do something a little different - focus more
on some holiday socializing and less on presentations (although of course we
will have a short presentation).

 

To aid the socializing, we're going to have a holiday potluck - everyone
please bring some dessert or finger food for sharing.  We'll provide plates,
plastic-ware, and soda/water.  I'm told that there will also be
(non-alcoholic eggnog).  If there's something special you want to drink,
feel free to bring it BUT REMEMBER NO ALCOHOL.

 

Adam W1ASB will talk about his experience working the PJ2T contest station
in Curacao, where he made something around 2500 QSOs in just a few days
during the DX contest.  Given recent weather history, we'll also have a
brief review of how to buy and use a portable generator for home emergency
power.

 

We'll open the EOC at 7:30pm instead of the usual 8:00pm.
