On the first and third Saturdays of each month from 4pm to 7:00, I host a program on WPKN 89.5 FM in Bridgeport, CT.  The station also streams on the net at www.wpkn.org.

This week, my guests will be John and Larry Gassman.  They host a show called same time same station.  it is heard Saturdays at 3pm eastern on www.yesterdayusa.com and throughout the week on a variety of websites.

We will be talking about old-time radio and I will take phone calls from the audience during the conversation.  The interview will begin at 5:00.

WPKN's over the air signal can not be heard that well in the Stamford area due to WSOU in New Jersey being on the same frequency.

You can listen online by going to www.wpkn.org.  Scroll down to where it says listen now.  That is not a clickable link.

After that, click on where it says ing/play_new.  Then click on where it says listen with flash (recommended.)  The stream should come on after that.

WPKN is a noncommercial, listener supported radio station.  We do not accept funds from NPR, the government or any corporations.  This gives the volunteer programmers, of which I am one, the freedom to do what we want as long as what we broadcast does not violate the terms of the station's FCC license.  There are only two paid employees.
