Back at the beginning of the month I announced that there would be some fun
with Social media this Field Day.
So "here's the plan...."

               Field Day campaign plans using Facebook and Twitter.

We want to send a blast to Twitter and Facebook for about an hour to get
media penetration at the beginning of the FD weekend event.   Field Day
begins for everyone at 1800 UTC, which is 2:00 eastern, 1:00 Central, noon
mountain, 11:00 AM Pacific.

We're asking everyone who can to tweet at 1600 UTC ( 12 Noon Local Time )
"Meet me at Field Day, [your location] #ARRL #hamradio'.

Re-tweet/send the messages of others.  As field day progresses, continue to
tweet, write on the walls and add pictures of your Field Day activities.

The addresses and codes of the ARRL's Twitter and Facebook sites will be in
the ARRL letter.
The address for the ARRL's PR  account with Twitter is    ARRL_PR
