Dear SARA Mailing List,

Some of you may know me as I was an active SARA member a number of years ago.

For those who don't, my name is Larry and my call is WA1PDK.  I have been a ham with this call since 1971 however I started in the hobby as WN1IHO in 1967.  I let the novice expire as it was one year non renewable in those days.

I just read the message from John, WB2RYV abut the recent event the club participated in.  It's good to see that public service activities and participation continue in Fairfield County as this is a very important part of the amateur radio service.
