To all the ops who responded to the call to staff the various OEM & ARC
centers A heartfelt  'THANKS YOU'. There is no adequate compensation for
what you have just done
but all the accolades are extended to you.  You should be proud of what you
have just done and here is hoping that we continue to serve in this manner
when called upon again

To our ops who could not leave their homes for one reason or the other, but
monitored the frequencies and provided invaluable information to the nets,
we also thank you.

We have also been receiving thank you calls from some of the agencies and I
extend them to you.

As hurricane Irene fizzled we were able to discontinue ops in most of the
agencies in our area and the you were able to go home and get some well
deserved rest

Communication was not disrupted and 'when all else fails' was not put into
service as we were prepared to do.

Most importantly, we were there Just in case.
