[CTSARA] Level 2 Standby: will only occur if something happens

Greetings!
 
Based on the current forecast track of Hurricane EARL, the Southeastern part of Connecticut is the most likely part of the state to experience tropical storm force winds and heavy rain from approximately Friday noon until midnight. 
 
In anticipation of possible power outages and communications infrastructure damage from the storm, I am raising the CT ARES Activation Status to LEVEL 2 

STANDBY effective 0800, Friday, 3 Sept 2010.
 
Please keep informed about the storm's expected impacts and be prepared to assist our Served Agencies if they should need our help.
