[CTSARA] Possible New Nearby IOTA

At the marathon yesterday I was talking with a ham who lives in Manhattan.

He's in the process of getting Manhattan registered as an island for IOTA.  Yes 
-- Manhattan, as in New York City.

Apparently his initial application was rejected the first time on the grounds 
that Manhattan is not surrounded by salt water, so he's just finished sending 
them information showing that all of Manhattan is surrounded by salt water.  

I can see it now -- Adam leading an IOTA expedition to Central Park.

P.S.  His main antenna is a 33 ft wire thrown out of his apartment window onto a 
tree down the street, with the counterpoise being the cold water pipes in his 
apartment building.  Using a standard MFJ tuner, he works 80-6, mostly on CW. 
 He's double DXCC, has WAS on each band except 10 and 6, Worked All Canada, 
etc., etc.
