Folks,

I completely agree with Jon on clothing and bug spray. I will be bringing several cans of bug spray to FD, enough to hose down everyone that shows up. I've encountered minor cases of poison ivy from handling coax and extensions cords on FD, so the gloves are an excellent idea, even if the're just the thin plastic types that food preparers or doctors wear.

If you're staying the night, a line jacket, sweatshirt or fleece top is definitely a good idea.

73,
Terry

Just a reminder to all who are participating:
We are going to be out at the Observatory. Much of what we do will be on grass
e.g., some of the tents are set up on grass, the picnic tables are on grass).
I can guarantee you from previous experience that you will become a feast for
he buggies if you wear shorts, wear sandals, don't wear socks, etc.
I heartily recommend long pants, long socks, shoes, and one hell of a lot of bug
pray!!!
In addition, we're running a lot of feedline all over the place and there is
ome poison ivy in some locations of the Observatory grounds. Therefore, bring
loves just in case you wind up pulling cable someplace.
Jon
