MTARA Packet Seminar Planned for Saturday, January 24, 2009

The Mount Tom Amateur Repeater Association, located in Western Massachusetts [ http://www.mtara.org ] is offering a ~FREE~ Packet Radio seminar on Saturday, January 24, 2009.
 
Are you interested in Packet Radio operations? If so, Brian-N1URO will demonstrate what it takes to get into this facet of Amateur Radio. Brian will show you what equipment you need, how to hook it all up, and how to make contacts on packet.
 
At this seminar, Brian will demonstrate: AX-25. - Flexnet and TCP/IP protocols. - DX Packet Cluster. - Using the Packet system.
 
Date: Saturday, January 24th (Snow Date TBA if Necessary)
 
Place: Holyoke Community College
303 Homestead Avenue (Rte 202)
Holyoke Massachusetts 01040-1099
 
Location: Kittredge Building
 
Room: People's Savings Bank Conference Room
 
Time: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
 
There is plenty of free and convenient on-site parking. Again, the seminar is ~free~ of charge and everyone, Ham and non-Ham alike is welcome to attend.
