Mike and all: Our local radio club program this past Tuessay evening was
about station grounding. While the audio is not available, the pp
presentation is here: www.rars.org/? scoll to the middle of the page to
grounding. The file is about 50 megs. After the slide asks? Questions,
there are additional slides listing all the references including more
information.
Regarding switching supplies. They usually work properly or they do not
work at all, as there are no Pass transistors to short as with analog?
supplies.The possibility of damaging a radio this way are usually nil.
