Hello to all. I am looking for advise or any input on the following.
I want to do an alignment procedure and restore the 10 meter band in  
my ft901dm.
I have all of the service manual information and without the extender  
boards may be
a slow process. But I am o.k. with knowing about the specific test  
points and have the data
on the readings I should see.
The service manual states needed test equipment as follows:
1-  RF signal generator 1 volt output at 5 ohms suggested HP606A or equiv.
2-  Vac Tube VTVM        RF probe good to 40 MHZ suggested HP410B
3-  AF signal generator  suggested HP200AB
   frequency counter  resolution to .01Khz to 30 Mhz    found the  
sinometer vc2000 ok on that

I know that the rig and manual are 30 years old. Test equipment has  
changed or can be called
something different even.
Can anyone please help me with finding some test equipment for 1, 2,  
& 3 above?
Finding an Elmer is difficult these days, I would love to sit at the  
bench and learn how
to perform an alignment from..... well any help on locating modern  
test equipment, what make and model and I'll give it a go.
