[CountyHunters] Some advice please

Don,
Your having worked all 3072 counties 4 times is quite an accomplishment
especially considering the Bingo in there. (That's only contacting
stations with special criteria to be labeled "bingo"). As such, you
have certainly earned your credibility in being heard on the subject.
I don't have a problem with your not liking the USACA methods as I have
seen many hams come and go away from it because they are unhappy. But I
am saddened that you offered your advice without offering an alternative
means of helping Dale reach his goals. I too am very interested in
knowing by what methods you earned your awards if you did not use the
USACA net(s) especially for the Bingo award. Some on the net choose to
earn their awards exclusively from the net, but some, like myself, are
willing to earn it by any means available (within the rules of the
award).
Please don't leave him or others discouraged. Your experience sets you
apart as a good source for both encouragement and helpful advice. Both
are certainly welcome and some, if not all of us are anxious to learn
from you.
Thank you,
Buck
