Hi all,

 

Does anyone has any experience with licencing on the Maledives 8Q?

As I found out you need to find a local op that will pay the fees before arriving, as they will not accept any checks or credit cards.

Any ideas? Does someone know any op from 8Q-land?

Carrigtwohill Community Centre at 2030.

 

EI1C/P was operated from the farm of Owen Cashman in Glounthaune last
weekend for CW Field Day.

Operators were Jerry EI6BT, Dave EI4BZ and Dave EI9FBB.

We operated in the restricted section and made almost 1,000 QSOs. a good
result.

Thanks to Jim EI8GS, John EI8IR, son James and Denis EI5GSB for their
support on site.

 

The SSB Field Day will be held on September 3/4th and we look forward to a
better turn out, hopefully in the open section.

The field has been booked so put the date in your diary.
