[Corkradioclub] Meeting Wednesday 31st August

Greetings.

 

Our next club meeting will be held on Wednesday August 31st at 2030 in
Carrigtwohill Community Centre.

 

We plan an open section entry in SSB Field Day on the following weekend at
Owen Cashman's farm in Glounthaune (same as CW field day).

The open section involves a directional array, Yagi or hex beam and a
rotator plus resonant wires for the lower bands.

 

It is also intended to activate a station for the Scouting Jamboree On The
Air in October.

 

A new award scheme, The Wild Atlantic Way will run throughout 2017 and we
will be expected to put County Cork on the air.
