Hello all,
In conjunction with John Hearne EI2FG arrangements are being made for club
members and friends to visit the RTE longwave (Atlantic 252) transmitter
site at Clarkstown Co Meath and the RTE facilitys at Atlone this should be
of great interest as all the old medium wave equipment is still in situ.
This would be days outing of a Saturday, proposed date's are 19th
September, or 3rd of October
Travel arrangements and date will be discussed at tomorrow nights meeting
at Carrigtohill, the options are to hire a bus, or go by car,
Those interested in traveling, and cant make it tomorrow night, please
reply here, or send text, we need to know how many will be traveling by the
5th of September
