Dave
Thanks for the email re AGM
Agree with all the points you made.
CRC needs a few members to organise and take charge of different
activities if the club is to continue.
I personally wish to thank those members that organised activities
over the past two years or so such as special event stations, social
get togethers etc.
In particular i want to thank you Dave for your input to the club in
recent years.
See you all I hope on
The 25th.

Hi Folks,
Apologies for the long silence.
Please attend the club's Annual General Meeting on Monday February 25th at
2000.
The venue is Vienna Woods Hotel.
We need to have a serious look at the future of the club. It's been there a
long time and it would be a shame if it ceased to exist.
The 'Real Capital' needs a strong and active club and for that we need a
few people to accept responsibility for making it happen.
All committee positions are up for grabs so please give it some thought. If
you do not want the responsibility yourself, please try to find a
'volunteer'.
As well as meetings, a club needs some outdoor activities like Marconi Day,
Lighthouse or other activations, field days etc. Do give the matter some
thought and maybe come with some suggestions.
Classes are another area that badly needs to be addressed.
The new syllabus and exam structure really make it easier but we need
somebody to manage and teach classes or just to mentor students.
IRTS has an updated CD to help students and are looking at producing
comprehensive class notes to aid both teachers and students. If you have an
interest in this area, let me know.
So, please come along on the 25th and bring a friend!
Hope you have all worked Dave EI9FBB at 5X8C!!

Dave EI4BZ
P.S. I would really appreciate if you could acknowledge this mail to prove
the system is still working.
