Hi All
Looking forward to Don 8DJ's talk on D-Star.
Re:CW Field Day
I ask all to have a think about Field Day & post comments here.
Don't matter if your willing to operate or not your ideas are welcome.
Already mentioned was that we may run 2 stations.
Two Club members have offered the use of their fields for Field Day.
One is in East Cork while the other is near Watergrasshill.
We can use both sites or just One & have station seperation.
To be decided....
Station 1-Use EI1C/P Call and & this station can do a serious entry to
compete with the other EI clubs etc.
Station 2- EI5CRC/P Call & this station can do a more relaxed entry in the
contest.
Ideal for newcomers etc.
Ingo mentioned about BBQ.
This is a good idea but in practice it is difficult to know the numbers
attending.
Storage of food is also an issue when doing a Field Day so perhaps it best
if we arrange a Time to all go to a Restaurant ?
Let us know your ideas Gentlemen please.
