 I have recently completed a small T-hunt transmitter that can also serve as
a verbal "CQ contest" generator...

 It has a voice record/playback chip with 60 seconds of recording capacity,
and an integral electret mike with RECORD button. Intended mostly as a
T-hunt transmitter, it also has PTT and audio outputs to drive an external
transmitter. Repeat times are selected with straps or external switches, 15
seconds to 30 minutes.
