[Collins] Question regarding AFC board in 851S-1

Hello,
I have a question regarding the AFC board used with 851S-1.
The 851S-1 lists two AFC board versions 624-3224-001 and 624-3224-002. 
It seems that in my 851S-1 version AFC 624-3224-001 is working while 624-3224-002 does not work. 
I checked my manual but could not find any hint that something has to be changed to use version 001 or version 002.
