[Collins] How to remove glued Collins KWM-2A panel?

I assume that you have a new panel to install.  Use a product called Liquid Nails - it comes in a tube.. 

Spread it on and then wait until it gets tacky and then place the new front panel on the surface.  Rub it evenly with a rag.  You could use claps on the corners.

I found the front panel is glued to an aluminium chassis.
What is the best way to remove it? Probably using heat gun and peeling off?
What kind of glue should I use to glue it back to another unit?
Any suggestion?
