[Collins] Cost of full servicing S Line pieces

Here's a fun question:  What should one reasonably be prepared to pay for
fully servicing
an S Line piece like the 32S3 or 75S3 ??

In other words, for those of us attracted to S Line gear at ham tests or
estate auctions,
the purchase price is just the wedding.  After the bride is brought home,
what should we
be prepared to pay in terms of recapping, retuning, etc. etc.  It seems to
me that when
you start figuring this, the money would be better spent on a used Yaesu or
Elecraft.

I'd like to hear arguments "FOR" going the distance on a pair of Collins S
Line retreads.
