If that was mine Id sweat on a brass hex nut to the cap rotor so 
neutralization does not require removing the cabinet. Do it fast with a big 
gun so as to not melt the solder from the rotor plates. Use a hard plastic 
or other non conductive nut driver.

And yes the 6146B family work just fine unless they are grossly mismatched 
but the 6146 has the same caveat.
