[Collins] Two More 51J4 Questions

Like somebody already wrote,it is caused by internal foam getting
gummy,no longer work properly,,I fixed my friend s 51j4 about 30years
ago,,because of it.Carefully open the filter and clean it.
R-390A filters are the same way.I live in a desert,,allR390As exposed to
high temp,,,never work any more,,
I have a complete set of Collins R390As filters for sale,,,undo the
solder
seals and open them,,and clean them.You can not put them into solvant
which will destroy exciter coils.
