The color code is for circuit identification as chosen by the engineer
or draftsman. It gives no hint of wire size or insulation thickness. The
conductor size of the replacement should be the same as that removed.
Bigger won't hurt electrically but it won't slip into the wire harness.
Smaller will go in the harness easier, but will run warmer and slightly
lower the tube heater voltages when its in the circuit.
