[Collins] The Collins list and W3AFH

I am sorry to have to write this email.

It has come to our attention in the last few days that posts to this
list have not been getting approved by the person in charge of list
(the list 'owner').  This list has been run by Barry Goldblatt, W3AFH.

In our efforts to try to contact Barry we discovered that Barry has
become a silent key.  I am not sure when as I have been unable to find
much information so far in my searches.

His QRZ.com page has him reported as a silent key. 

And I found one post by K4WYS in the archives of another Collins email
list where K4WYS states that Barry had passed away and that K4WYS had
been asked to dispose of his amateur radio equipment.

I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news.  

I will be approving all/most of the held posts to the list.  Some date
back to October, so do not be surprised to see some old posts coming
through.

I will become the new temporary list 'owner' until I can find someone to
take over these duties for the Collins list here on qsl.net.
