[Collins] WARC XTALS for KWM-2A

Among the custom crystal makers, ICM has been one of the most reliable.
In the last 50 years, every crystal I've bought from ICM has been on
frequency and the frequency ordered, but only about 60% of crystals from
Texas Crystals has been right. There are other makers out there,
Petersen Crystal in Council Bluffs caters mostly to hams if they are
still in business.
Making the wire mounted and plated crystals in the sealed enclosers is a
whole lot more machinery intensive than grinding surplus FT-243 crystals
to a new frequency.
Surplus Sales of Nebraska had a number of Collins crystals but has
thinned their collection, but may be worth looking. WARC bands are
unlikely to be found in any surplus collection.
Dan's Small Parts and Kits has a wide collection of crystals, probably
none on a Collins standard frequency.
Below 12 MHz the receive band lower edge is 3.155 MHz lower than the
crystal frequency. Above 12 MHz the receive band lower edge is 3.155 MHz
lower than twice the crystal frequency. Factory crystals vary in
frequency from 6.555 MHz to 16.4775 MHz for 3.4 to 30 MHz. There is a
complete table in EVERY S-line and KWM-2 manual.
