Of the usual suppliers, Digi-Key admits to a 10Meg pot, but has none and
has a minimum order of 250 units. Made by Honeywell. I didn't search for
that Honeywell part number.
http://www.potentiometers.com/series70.cfm State Electronics claims to
have parts in hand to assemble any quantity of pots to specification, in
a smaller package than the original (I think) in most any quantity. I've
not asked for a quote which is the way to make them show their hand.
Work arounds, near cobbles. Solder a 10 to 22 megohm resistor in
parallel with the pot. That will move the operation point to a new place
on the pot so it might make contact again, but if the resistance element
is open end to end that won't help.
Replace the pot with a 5 meg pot, more readily available and add a
second time constant capacitor doubling the capacitance of the circuit.
That's C119 in my 32S-1 book a .047 paper, if that's not been replaced
by an orange drop, its leaky and affecting the time delay adversely. Go
to a 5 meg pot and a 0.1 orange drop or other quality polyester
capacitor. This may slow VOX attack slightly. Simply adding capacitance
will move the operating point to allow using the original pot a while
longer.
Move the wire from one end lug to the other end lug reversing the
rotation of the pot to move the operating point.

These all bear the Collins P/N 376-7206-00 (or-000 on the end). As far as I can determine, current production offerings from the main distributors stop at 5 Meg Ohms. Thanks.
