Looks like from the manual that its a military style rectangular
connector with 22 round pins and two miniature coax connections. Roughly
1 x 2-1/2 inches. The parts list gives only a Collins part number. If I
hunted deep enough in the attic I might find a vendor and vendor number
that's close. It came as a DC power cable, a cable part of the mobile
mount, or attached to the 516F-1 AC supply. I doubt a new one is
available from a distributor, perhaps from a dealer in parts like
Surplus Sales of Nebraska who will figure its made of solid gold, not
just gold plated pins. But if they have the only three in existence they
may have the right to set the price. They don't show one. Google has
turned one up on epay, priced higher than I'd expect of Surplus Sales
because of its rarity. Says it was made by Cannon. Item number
150417743940, has two days 20 hours to go. Has good pictures. Same
seller sold one ten days ago, so he's had at least two, but is milking
the market for all its worth.
I'm not going old catalog hunting this evening.
