Roy,

I'm sorry I can't help with this problem as my 30S-1 notes are lost, but I
do recall problems with K202. Try Goggling "30S-1 interlock," for example.

During my 30S-1 refurbish, I found the lower door interlock switch and
assembly to be the biggest challenge. Install the following wiring change
described below. As a troubleshooting aid, you'll be glad you did!!!!

Troubleshooting Aid for the 30S-1 Interlock circuit.

Troubleshooting the AC Interlock in the 30S-1 is difficult due to a lack of
indication as to whether the interlock circuit is open or closed. A
super-simple procedure is to drop the front panel and change the source of
voltage supplying the Tune & Load dial lamps. After removing and taping-back
the hot lead at dial-lamp socket DS201, run a new lead from that DS201
terminal to either contact at the rear of the HV "OFF" switch, S208.

Now, when AC power is applied, only the two panel meters will illuminate.
When the interlock circuit closes, and the 3-minute time delay expires, both
Tune & Load lamps will illuminate indicating that the interlock circuit is
good to go; if not the interlock system is open.

I am not the author of this modification. The original document had the
meter lamps illuminate when the interlock circuit closed. I preferred the
dial lamps. It seems more logical since the voltmeter is active at this
point. The choice is yours.

Please can anyone advise regarding relay hang on a 30S-1 when you go from
transmit back to receive. I have recently acquired this amp and was advised
to swap the supply leads to K205 relay. I have done this and there is no
change .It will hang on transmit for several seconds. Any ideas would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you.
