Mouser #  686-17276 looks pretty good, but they don't expect any until 
late June.

Newark #    93K2563 has the same 17276 number in stock, a bit long at 20 
feet. A bit pricey, but IN STOCK.

70355K79 at McMaster-Carr, except it has a clear plug for hospital use.

There are several times as many cords made grey with round wire and 18 
gauge as in 16 gauge.

Look at gadgets like outlet strips or extension cords with decent cords 
and plugs. Shorten them and add a new plug to the remains to allow 
continued use with a shorter cord.
