[Collins] Visit to Howard Mills, outstanding!

Anyone who has taken an interested in having an A-line type unit restored by a craftsman should take a close look at Howard Mills.

Yesterday, I went to Harper's Ferry to meet the man in person. Folks, I was impressed.  I have seen several examples of his work and they are ALL premium grade, in fit and finish.  I spied an example of a restored 75A-2.  It makes my humble attempt at restoring a 75A-2 look sick.  

He has even performed non-Collins restorations.  An immaculate SP-600JX-14 awaits its lucky owner's return.

IMHO, I don't think you'd be steered wrong in considering Howard for all your refinishing needs.  I'm not an owner or anything of that nature.  I do have an eye for superbly restored equipment and Howard's work stands tall among the restorers of Collins equipment.
