Probably it will recover (like an S-line) with vigorous operation of the
bandswitch to clean the contacts. Less violently it would be preferable
to apply a quarter drop of DeoxIT to each switch contact and run the
band switch through all positions a few times, vigor not needed. Its not
a good idea to use the spray version because the insulation wafer of the
rotary switch are not improved by being soaked with DeoxIT. Its better
to use the dropper bottle and then quite sparingly.
