G'day Gerald... I have just downloaded your piece from HSN Spring 2001 and
before going ahead with a a building project, wonder if there have been any
updates.  In the interim, I have just installed a 12  DC brushless fan
powered from a bridge rectifier mounted within the PS module , extracting
air from around the  6082's  and naturally a significant decrease in
temperature --- bulb temperature at the glass /base meeting point measures
around 57 C..--- this after the rx operating on bench for 4 hours. No doubt
an improvement.I didn't check it  before however.! 
Additionally the  odour of hot  resistors now absent too.! 
Any Info appreciated, thanks .
