[Collins] 75A-4 meter

About 6 years after having traded my first 75A-4, I now own my second. 
I often regretted that trade and I knew I would get another sooner or 
later.  This one is especially nice in that it has 3 filters and is a 
late 5XXX serial number.  It has a few mods that I will undo but nothing 
major.

Here's my question.  The S-meter does not seem correct.  It won't accept 
the pilot light holder.  The hole is too small for the lamp holder.  And 
the studs on the rear of the meter are about 1/4" while the lugs look to 
be for a #10 machine screw.  The guy clamped the original lug between 
the washers.  So I figured its a replacement meter but the meter face 
looks identical to the pictures in the manual.  It even says Collins 
Radio Company.

So is this meter from another radio?  Perhaps an A-3 or A-2?  Should I 
just live with it?
