I usually use a hair dryer to warm it up and then turn it.

Hi Dave!
A long-time friend and collins expert tells me that warming the trimmer
by touching the metal screw center with a soldering iron will usually free
them up.

Subject: {Collins} S-Line trimmer caps stuck in position
My apologies if this has been addressed before. What solutions have been
found for freeing up S-line trimmer caps that appear to be stuck in their
present position and can not be adjusted for proper alignment????
Thanks in advance & 73,
Dave, K2DP
