Dave,

You might try Heyboer Transformers www.heyboertransformers.com They made a
direct replacement for the 516F-2 chokes. I purchased 4 of them back in '04.
At the time their description was "8 Hy 6680300-00, HTS-6982. If that
description doesn't work, tell the person you talk to look up the "Bill
Abate" file. These chokes have end bells on both sides. For L1 I simply
(actually, very carefully) removed one of the bells to fit the chassis hole.
These brought 2 F2s back to life and have been just dandy.

Dave,

Triad has a 10H choke with a slightly lower resistance that may work. I
recently ordered one from Allied to replace a 12H choke in a 310B and it
works fine.
