[Collins] Help on troubleshoodint a 51S-1

Hello,

I took a couple of pictures of O-Scope waveforms of the BFO and Audio.

You can look at the Horiz time base setting to see what is what. The one of 
the BFO (taken at the input to the product detector) looks great. One is of 
the AM signal and one is the raspy sounding SSB signal. Why is the SSB 
signals FMing? It looks like an FM modulated signal. It is not the signal 
generator, it is distorted with on the air signals. Any ideas?
