[Collins] 32S3 plate current

Greetings to all,

        This is offered for what it is worth as, after working on S Line 
gear since the early 70's, I have never encountered this condition before. 
Perhaps it will be of some used to others and save some trouble shooting 
time..

        I just traded for a 32S3-A transmitter.  It worked perfectly and 
received excellent on-the-air reports, with one exception.  When switching 
to "TUNE" or "LOCK KEY",  the transmitter would go to nearly full power out 
and the mike gain control had virtually no effect on transmitter power.  One 
would normally think of an alignment or parasitic problem.  However, it 
turned out to be much simpler.  R71, 5 watt, 47K, black Dale resistor was 
open.   R71 is located on the high side of the front pot on the mike gain 
control which is in the cathode circuit of the 6AH6 pre-driver.  It connects 
this point back to the screen of the 6CL6 driver tube.
