[Collins] Collins 718T

Hello Everyone
The other day I read a reference to a 718T Collins radio which was to 
replace the 618T
as I am familiar with the 618T of which I used to own a 618T3B the 100hz 
version
but what was the 718T I can't find anything about it on the net.

The reference says it was made for the military.
Does anyone have any information on it and did it ever go into production, 
what was it called?
