A balun or what? Those weren't great days for broad band transformers?
Not something I find in the 75A2 schematic. I've not seen a schematic
for a 75A1. Can it be run without that RF transformer with just a bit of
mismatch? Or is that transformer a cause of mismatch with coax fed
antennas?

I have stuff using ordinary clapper type relays up through 2 meters
without problems.
