I'm in process of restoring a couple of PM-2 power supplies. The
rubber (?) protection strip along the top front edge (used to provide
a 'buffer' for the lid on the KWM-2 to rest on when fully open) is
very discoloured on both of them and really needs to be replaced.
The strip is 'wrapped round' the top front edge of the PM-2 case for
most of its width and is about 3/8 inch wide on each side of the sheet
metal - sort of like a thin U shape that slips over edge of the PM-2
case and hides the otherwise unfinished sheetmetal edge.
The 'rubber' it is made from is maybe 1/16 inch thick at most but this
is enough to stop the M2 lid from resting directly on the PM-2 case
edge when the lid is fully opened back. Total length of strip required
is about 12-13 inches per PM-2 so I need maybe 28-30 inches at most.
Not managed to source anything quite like it yet. Is there anyone on
list who has been down this track before-I'd be appreciative of any
suggestions for a source for a replacement-which needs to be grey.
