I don't like the original relay at all, and I don't like the plug in replacement
much. Neither design has a lot of contact gap when open or much contact wipe when
closing. The original of the VOX relay came packed in tissue paper in
cardboard boxes. At one point the warehouse decided the boxes took up
too much room and so unboxed and unwrapped the relays and tossed them
into a bin. Those relay contact sets are hand adjusted, so are delicate.
After lots of production trouble the warehouse was convinced to scrap
all the relays they bent and to keep them in the boxes they came in
after that.

I prefer the P&B KHP family of armature type relays that may a bit
noisier. They come in two and four pole double throw. You want the 110
volt DC coil to get the right resistance. Lots of catalogs leave out the
110 volt DC coil options. Look at NTE for suitable replacements. And
today the KHP is known as KHUP.

In other brands, though I'm biased towards P&B, like Magnecraft, the VOX
relay might be a 782XDX24L-110D and the antenna relay 782XBXM4L-110D
which are available from Mouser with Mouser numbers 528-782X24-110D and
528-782X4-110D.

In P&B, Drat, not in this Mouser catalog. At least the Magnecraft prices
are nice.
