I am having a 30S-1 completely gone over by a local engineer ham. All is
good except the tuning to ZERO. It originally slammed all the way left.
Replaced a large number of components and now it is off ZERO but still won't
tune to zero. See note below.

Any ideas, Please?

Phil

Hi Phil,

It is getting close - I went back through your previous emails, and I've
checked all of that. If you tune it in the CW position, the meter reads
about +.2 to .5 until you hit a KW out - it goes to about .8 there. In the
SSB position, it's also about about .8. You indicated that it was pegging
to the left. After aligning it and replacing the capacitors, it's slightly
to the right. I don't see much adjustment from the R105 so I'm going to
drop the front panel and make sure nothing is bad there. The actual bridge
components appear good though.

Danny
