I found an ART-13 (Navy version?) in the attic of a house I recently
acquired. Although untested, the transmitter appears complete with all tubes
installed, and low frequency oscillator installed. The panel appears clean and
unmodified, with all knobs in good condition. The dynamotor is comparable, attached to
the base, and I have what appears to be an extra similar base. The connecting
cable appears military, intact female end with twistlock,, male end has
phenolic aligning the pins and tape insulating the wires. Original era, 1944,
Operators Manual (Calibration guide?) along with a 1956 revision.
I am not involved in radio, at all, and would like to get some idea of value
before offering this item for sale. While price is an issue, I would prefer to
get this item into the hands of an appreciative party. I have some pictures
that I will gladly attach to interested party e-mails.
