[Collins] PM-2 questions / Parts availability

I'm in the process of bringing up two PM-2 power supplies.  A couple of
questions..

 

I've read quite a bit on previous posts - as an update, does anyone know or
have a current source of parts such as the Transformer available?

 

I have one of Rod, K1ROD's upgrade replacement boards (I'll need a second
one real soon).  This board looks to be a good upgrade for the supply if the
current condition is questionable.  I also have four of the replacement
capacitors.

 

Back to the questions - is the operation of the KWM-2A the same as using a
516F-2?  I realize that the duty cycle is different, with the PM-2 listed as
"intermittent" duty.  Is there anything that I should know about if I plan
on using one for normal day to day SSB work?

 

One of my PM-2's looks like it may have spent some time under water, so it
may end up being "parts" while the quest for another salvageable unit
continues.

 

There had been some traffic reference KWM-2A alignment a couple of weeks ago
- I am gathering parts for testing so that I can make use of the information
gained right here.  I'll put something out when I have some results.
