I have just recapped by 512E1 (not sure about that nomenclature, I am not in
the shack) 12DC power supply for my KWM2. There is a bias adjustment pot, a
5K ohm 2 Watt linear pot in it that has burned out (burned spot on
resistance element) that I need to replace. I have looked all through Mouser
and cannot find a replacement. Anyone have one they will sell for cheap?
Anyone know of a source? It doesnt have to be an exact replacement as there
is plenty of room for the new one. 1/4" shaft with slightly larger mounting
hole. Preferably it has a short shaft with a slot for adjustment but I can
even do that with a hack saw.
