A couple of 572Bs will run pretty much the same power as four 811s.

So with 4 572Bs you might be able to run close to twice the power of
four 811s.  Of course that assumes the power supply is capable of
supplying the increased current required.  I seriously doubt that the
power supply in the 30L-1 is capable of supply that much additional
current.  Even if it were, such operation would change the output
impedance into the pi-net and possibly require modifications there.

572Bs are more expensive than 811s.  Unless you can get some decent
Centron 572Bs you may also run into biasing problems.  Newer
manufactured 572Bs of the chinese variety dont act like the Centron
572Bs and cannot be used as plug-in replacements without bias supply
changes.  At least that was the case with my Yeasu FL-2000B.

I see more reasons not to convert.  If you need more power, sell the
30L-1 and buy a beefier amp.

That is my take on it.
